Job purpose:

The Lead Engineer/Manager/Sr. Manager in Process Engineering will be responsible for overseeing and leading the design, development, and optimization of process systems for Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, and Pipelines projects. The individual in this role will provide technical expertise, lead teams, and ensure high-quality engineering solutions are delivered for projects. Offshore experience is preferred.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Lead Engineering Projects: Lead process engineering for refinery, petrochemical, and oil & gas projects, ensuring that all designs meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in HYSYS and HTRI for process simulation, heat exchanger design, and pressure drop calculation. Adept in hydraulic calculations for both single-phase and multi-phase flow scenarios.
• Process Design & Development: Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for complex projects. Provide guidance to the team for accurate representation of processes.
• Process Safety: Lead the identification and resolution of process safety issues through HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) and HAZID (Hazard Identification) processes. Ensure proper close-out of safety recommendations and actions.
• Safety Documentation: Develop and review cause & effect diagrams, safety flow diagrams, and safe guarding memorandums, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, ensuring that process engineering deliverables meet client requirements and are delivered on time.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring a high standard of work and fostering professional development.
• Project Management Support: Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that engineering designs are aligned with project timelines and budgets.

Experience and Qualification Required

• Experience in Engineering/ EPC Project for Oil & Gas Project (15+ years experience)
• B.Tech./B.E. – Chemical
